Redcar and the coastal towns around it have a character all of their own. Victorian and Edwardian terraces line the streets near the seafront and Coatham, Dormanstown was built in the 1920s as a planned village for steelworkers, and Marske and New Marske have grown with plenty of modern family homes. Each brings different plumbing and heating needs, from ageing pipework to modern combi boilers.
Living by the sea also takes its toll. Salty air and strong winds off the North Sea wear on external flues, condensate pipes and outside taps faster than inland, and exposed pipework is more likely to freeze when the weather turns. We know the A174 and A1085 routes well, so whether you are near Redcar Beacon, Kirkleatham, Locke Park or Saltburn Pier, help is never far away.
