1. Who We Are

AN Plumbing & Heating is a plumbing and heating business based at 253 Marton Road, Middlesbrough TS4 2EY. We are responsible for the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and your rights under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

When you call, text or WhatsApp us, or when we carry out work for you, we may collect:

• Your name, phone number and address, including your postcode
• Details of the job, such as the problem, your boiler make and model, and photos or videos you send us
• For landlords, your tenant’s name and contact number so we can arrange access
• Records of the work we carry out, including gas safety and service records
• Payment and invoice details

3. How We Use Your Information

We only use your information to:

• Reply to your enquiry and give you a price
• Arrange, carry out and follow up on the work you ask for
• Issue invoices, service records, gas safety certificates and other paperwork
• Meet our legal duties, such as gas safety record keeping and tax records

4. Our Lawful Reasons

We use your information because we need it to provide the work you have asked for (a contract), because the law requires us to keep certain records (a legal obligation), or because it is in our legitimate interests to run our business properly. We do not send marketing messages.

5. Who We Share It With

We never sell your information. We only share it when we need to, for example:

• Building Control, through the Gas Safe Register, when we install a new boiler, as the law requires
• Boiler manufacturers, to register your warranty
• Our accountant, for tax and accounting
• WhatsApp (owned by Meta), when you choose to message us there

6. Our Website

Our website does not have a contact form or live chat, and we do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The site is hosted by Cloudflare. It also loads Google Fonts and an embedded Google Map, and Google may collect basic technical data such as your IP address when these load. 7. How Long We Keep It

We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the work we do for you and to meet legal and tax requirements. Gas safety and installation records are kept for the periods the regulations require.

8. Your Rights
